L.A.O/Sparks the Rescue/Too Late the Hero

I dont remember what happened earlier..guess it wasnt important..so skip ahead to like 7pm..

Went to Brians to grab him for the show..didnt have cash so we tried finding the others to see if they could give him the remaining 4 bux he needed..i was going to spot him 3...well brian ends up not going but we still found punsky,matt burnham and griffin skating at Fleet/Bank of America parking lot...instead of going to the show (turns out an A/A meeting got held over and took longer than it should have so the show was postponed to 8ish) we all go to the park and skate..i ran into heather and chris..both of whom i havent seen since like marine bio and last time i saw chris was at shadows fall..so anyway were all skating waiting for palmer to show up..him and andrea show up eventually and instead of hitting the show we all go skate some more..palmer had an extra board that i could use which was pretty tight turning wise considering the fact that it was mising a bearing(sp) so we go to cumbys for drinks, head over to the old rec and skate for a while..well palmer goes to switch and instead of going for a grind on the base of the steps he lost his balance and slammed his back into the corner of the stoop..basicly after that he couldnt move so we waited with him until griffin got the van from the legion..by now some band from mass who presumably sucked bigtime had started playing but no one was interested at all considering the situation..we get him into the van eventually and he drives to his house for stuff then matts mom offered to take palmer to maine med but only palmer, andrea and matt could go with so me griffin and punsky had to stay back at the legion..i ended up going in to catch L.A.O. who i think may be my new favorite cali-based band..the guys from lifes all over are really down to earth..i met the singer, Blake before their set and griffin/punsky/i were talking about palmer and he was concerned ligetitamly which was suprisingly cool..after their set when i was talking to him he asked on his condition which i also thought was cool of him..the guitarist, Ryan randomly in the middle had me hi-five him i was like sweet making friends with a sick band always is a plus...well during the hi-five he forced a pick into my hand i was like tiiight...griffin and punsky went off to get food instead of going in..too late the hero i caught self control at its finest simply because its an amazing song and then ended up sitting in the hall with ryan and punsky who decided to not pay their way through because they spent their cash on food..stayed around after the show to talk with adam from headstart and nate from u-turn then went outside to chill with the guys from L.A.O. some more..theyre basicly the man..theyre on tour all summer...4 days off total since late may and still go until end of august..talk about dedicated..they said theyre already working on scheduling a show probably at the station in portland and pretty much enlisted me ryan and punsky to do flyer-work for them next time which is fine by me..went to griffins for a few...found some stuff that were in need of a lighter to "start" if you catch what im talkin about :-) (starts with fire ends in works if your that much of an idiot) messed with that and then came home to spend majority of the night wondering about palmer...while playing T.H.U.G (tony hawk underground sped-head..NOT anything to do with Thuglife...basicly im bored with the game already..halfway through..just got signed to Element and im really not seeing a point to continue any more..yet i probably will tomorrow if not after this "little" deal.

10 Band show at the Station on August 20 being headlined by Animal Suit Driveby and featuring Sparks the Rescue, Cambiata, Radiation Year, U-Turn and a few touring bands to fill the bill..basicly its going to sell out fast.

Also...Headstart! news..theyre not doing a whole lot of shows at the moment..theyre currently writting their third album and should be recording starting sometime soon according to adam.
